So I know you just heard from me a little while ago but I just felt like writing. You know when you have like a super awesome day for no real reason. I had one of those today. :) It started the way all good days should, with free food. So I work down in the depths of the library in Special Collections. Essentially I help really old people look at really old things. It's great! If that's not awesome enough for you, sometimes we have these events with refreshments and we get to eat the leftovers! Today there was this massive fruit tray and cheese cubes! I love cheese cubes!!! After work I went home and took a beautiful 4 hour nap, hung out with my roommate, went to the store, laid in the grass, and just loved life. So I know I've had a little bit of an attitude problem the last few weeks, adjusting to a new semester, dealing with life's little disappointments, stressing about classes, and having Thailand withdrawals. Today was just what I needed. Nothing super special, just a really happy day. It helped me realize just how lucky I am. I've got a kickin' life, wonderful friends, an amazing family, awesome roommates, and a great job. Funny how little things like free food can just put stuff into perspective. So if you ever hear me complain again just say "Hey remember that cheese cube day." Then I will say "I do remember that day. Life is great."
